VoIPster Communications is proud to announce full support for DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM)!

What is DKIM?
DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) lets an organization take responsibility for a message that is in transit. The organization is a handler of the message, either as its originator or as an intermediary. Their reputation is the basis for evaluating whether to trust the message for further handling, such as delivery. Technically DKIM provides a method for validating a domain name identity that is associated with a message through cryptographic authentication.

All that technical jargon simply means we offer customers for whom we provide e-mail services a means to verify to the recipients to which they address an e-mail, that the message is in fact legitimate and is not spoofed or spam. In simplest terms each and every message you send automatically contains a unique fingerprint which only can be provided by you. If your recipient's e-mail system can't verify the fingerprint included in the message header for some reason, they know there is a problem with the message.

A simple change to your domain DNS records is required to implement the DKIM feature. While not mandatory, we strongly recommend implementation as soon as possible. If you would like more information, please e-mail support at voipster.org and one of our staff will be happy to assist you.

I would like to personally thank you for being a VoIPster Communications customer.

Sincerely,
