[Customer-notifications] Electric Sheep Fencing LLC. pfSense firewall version 2.2

[VoIPster Communications, LLC. Support Department]

Many VoIPster Communications, LLC. trunking and enterprise customers are utilizing the pfSense firewall from Electric Sheep Fencing LLC. as an ingress/egress security solution. Late last night firmware 2.2-STABLE was released.

After testing this release in our security lab, VoIPster Communications, LLC. would STRONGLY suggest that customers DO NOT UPGRADE TO THE 2.2-STABLE FIRMWARE at this time.The VoIPster Communications, LLC. Security Team is working directly with members of the Electric Sheep Fencing LLC. Development team to address concerns that were identified during our lab testing.

Once concerns have been addressed, we will send another notification to customers. Again, until then, VoIPster Communications, LLC. would STRONGLY suggest that customers DO NOT UPGRADE TO THE 2.2-STABLE FIRMWARE.
