[Customer-notifications] About Today's Eariler Service Impact

To Our Valued Customers - 

Providing you and your business with reliable service is always our first priority . Today at 3:00am Eastern Standard Time we became aware of a full worldwide outage of our network services. Our team of engineers were immediately notified and began an investigation in to the issue. 

The root cause of the issue was quickly identified as a misconfiguration of our network information within the international domain name registry. While checks and balances are in place to prevent such an issue, on July 1, we filed a change of legal name with the registry. An unintended clerical error resulted in the cause of today’s outage.

After quickly working with the registry, the information has been updated and most services are now fully operational. Currently the network is 90% operational and is expected to be at normal operation by close of business today.
